Important Google Ads Notice:

We do not collect or process any personal data ourselves in the Google advertisements. Rather, we simply receive statistical analyses of the data from Google. Based on these analyses, we are able to determine which of the advertisements placed are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising, nor in particular are we able to use this information to identify users.

Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags via an interface. No cookies are set and no personal data is captured when Google Tag Manager is used. The tool causes other tags to be created which may potentially capture data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation was carried out at domain or cookie level, it remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. The first sentence of Article 6(1f) GDPR provides the legal basis for processing your data.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. Google Analytics also uses cookies that allow, among other things, to analyse the way you use the website. As a rule, the information generated by these cookies is transferred to and stored on a server operated by Google in the USA. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website in order to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports regarding website activities and provide services for the website operator relating to website and Internet usage. These reports and services are used to continuously improve the facilities offered by this website.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by making an appropriate setting in your browser. We must point out, however that if you do so, you will be unable to use all the functionalities of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the capture and processing of data relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address), generated by these cookies, by Google by simply downloading and installing the following Google browser plug-in, clicking on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the Google Ads Advertising Network, provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). We use the services of Google Ads so that we can place advertisements on third party websites (including Google) for the purpose of advertising our services. Using data obtained from our advertising campaigns, we are then able to determine how effective individual advertisements are and adjust them to enhance their effectiveness. We use this tool to show you advertisements that might interest you, to make our website more appealing to your specific interests and to calculate our advertising costs and profitability of advertising in a fair manner.

These advertisements are delivered by Google Ads. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies that enable us to gauge success by means of a number of metrics, such as how often advertisements are displayed and how many times they are clicked by users. If you are linked to our website by a Google advertisement, Google Ads will save a cookie on your PC. These cookies will normally expire after 90 days and are not used to identify you personally. A cookie of this type will normally contain data for analysis such as the unique cookie ID, the number of ad impressions for each placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (a flag specifying that the user no longer wishes to be shown advertisements).

These cookies allow Google to recognise your Internet browser. If a user visits specific pages on the website of a Google Ads customer and the cookie saved on the user’s computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer are able to discern that the user has clicked on the advertisement and was sent to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Google Ads customer. It is therefore not possible to track cookies via the websites of Google Ads customers. We do not collect or process any personal data ourselves in the aforementioned advertisements. Rather, we simply receive statistical analyses of the data from Google. Based on these analyses, we are able to determine which of the advertisements placed are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of advertising, nor in particular are we able to use this information to identify users.

Google Ads Remarketing (Previous Visitors Exclusion)

This website uses the Google Ads remarketing exclusion function, provided by Google Inc. We use the Google Ads remarketing exclusion function to exclude advertising on third party websites (including Google) to previous website visitors or site users who originate from a search based platform (including Google). We do this to prevent adverts that have previously been clicked from being served to the same people who may no longer have an interest in our product or that advert format. We do this to provide a better experience for the end user. Google Ads creates a cookie when our site is visited that originated from an advert on the Google Search network so that the user can be recognised as a previous website visitor. The data stored in the cookie is not combined with other personal data to create user profiles. By using this website, you agree that data relating to you and collected by Google may be processed in an aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose.

Google Ads Customer Match (Sign-in User Account Exclusion)

This website uses the Google Ads customer match function, provided by Google Inc. When one of our website visitors applys for one of our products using an application form on our website the email address and or the phone number entered by the applicant may be uploaded to Google ads via the Google approved API. Those email addresses and or phone numbers are matched with Google's signed in users for the sole purpose of excluding our advertisements on the Google advertising networks. This stops previously clicked adverts being shown or presented to matching signed in Google users again. By completing and submitting an application on this website, you agree that data relating to you and used by Google may be processed in an aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purpose.

If a user’s email address or phone number is not matched with a Google account by Google’s customer match system, then the email address or phone number will be deleted and is not stored by us or third parties for any future use.

Google Ads Customer Match (User_ID Exclusion)

This website uses the Google Ads customer match function, provided by Google Inc. When a visitor to this website completes an application form relating to any of our products or services, a 15 digit random unique user_id that is not personally identifiable is generated by Lolly.co.uk. This user_id may then be passed via the Google-approved API to Google, enabling Google to associate the random ‘user_id’ with that user’s Google assigned cookies. This assigned user_id is then used for the sole purpose of excluding our advertisements on the Google Search Advertising Networks. This stops them from being shown to previous visitors of this website. By using this website, you agree that a user_id generated by us and collected by Google may be processed in the aforementioned manner and used for the aforementioned purpose.

More about our use of Google Products

This website uses Google Ads and Google Features

Google Ads remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and display ads that are the most relevant to you. As always we respect your privacy and are not collecting any identifiable information through the use of Google’s or any other 3rd party remarketing system.

At Lolly.co.uk we use Google Ads and Remarketing along with Customer Match to exclude advertising on Google and other third party websites to previous users of this website where required.

This could mean that previous vistors of this website do not have our adverts shown to them in Google search results or in the Google display network. Many third party vendors including Google use cookies to show or exclude people from being shown adverts based on their past browsing history including visits to this website. Any data collected is strictly used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

We may also choose to EXCLUDE our adverts on Google from showing to previous applicants on our website, where an email address or other details have been submitted as part of the application process to obtain one of our services.

We reserve the right to use Google Ads remarketing to not display ads to you by placing a cookie on your machine or to not display ads by using your email address to exclude advertisements to you using the customer match service from Google Ads.

This cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer.

In addition to using cookies and related technologies as described above, we also may permit certain third-party companies to help us tailor advertising that we think may be of interest to users and to collect and use other data about user activities on our Sites and/or Services (e.g. to allow them to tailor ads on third-party services). These companies may deliver ads that might also place cookies and otherwise track user behaviour.

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

Data may be accessed and/or deleted by end-users via Google MyActivity (https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity).
